Away on Holiday

Hi Friends,

You know that I try to post my blog every three days. However, I will be away on a holiday with my family from 6-18 December. If the Lord wills,my next blog will be posted on 19 December.

Until then, reflect on what Christmas means to you. As for me, Christmas reminds me that God is never in a hurry. He has His purpose and it is always fulfilled. Jesus could have come as a full grown adult with super powers. Instead, God  decided to come as a  helpless baby relying on human help.  He was prepared to wait 30 years for Jesus to grow up before He proclaimed the Good News. God knows when is the best time for something to happen. Can we trust Him to make something happen in our lives according to His time?

Our Lord entrusted Himself to a humble and God fearing couple who would bring up Jesus under God’s protection.Mary and Joseph trusted God when bringing up Jesus. God trusted them to make the right choices as parents of Jesus. They did their part and God did His part.  We have a role to play in God’s purposes. Like the boy with the five loaves and two fishes, let’s give God the meagre resources  we have and trust Him to multiply the little we have.

I have more to say but this is not about me. It’s about you and your reflection on Christmas

Welcome to my blog entitled ” His Word In My World”. I will be sharing spiritual truths which I learned from the Lord. The emphasis will be on applying God’s word to daily living. I have kept each entry bite-size.
